1. Who we are and what this covers

Matrixshift Technologies Inc. ("MatrixShift", "we", "us", "our") is incorporated in Canada and operates from Hong Kong. We are building MatrixShift, a platform for deploying specialized AI agents under human control. The product is in development; this website (the "Site") exists to explain it and to let you join the waitlist, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us.

This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the Site. Our handling of personal information is governed by the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and our commercial electronic messages comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). "Personal information" means information about an identifiable individual.

2. What we collect

Everything we collect through the Site, you type into a form:

Each submission also records the language of the page you submitted it from (English or 繁體中文), so we can reply in your language.

Beyond the forms:

The Site has no accounts, no login, and no payment collection. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors, and the Site is not directed at them.

3. No cookies; anonymous analytics

The Site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to: no advertising trackers, no marketing pixels, no cross-site identifiers.

We measure aggregate usage with Umami, a cookieless analytics service. It counts page views and a small number of events (for example, that a waitlist form was submitted, and from which language of the site) without cookies, without fingerprinting individual visitors, and without storing personal information. We see totals and trends, not people.

4. Why we collect it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you. If we ever want to use your information for a new purpose, we will ask first.

5. Consent and CASL

Submitting a form is your consent to the corresponding use above. We send commercial electronic messages (including the newsletter and waitlist updates) only with your consent or as CASL otherwise permits; every message identifies us, provides contact information, and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism that takes effect promptly. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or by emailing us — we will explain any consequences (for example, that we can no longer notify you about waitlist access) and act on the request.

6. Who touches your information

We do not disclose personal information except:

7. Transfers outside Canada and Hong Kong

Our service providers store or process information in other jurisdictions, including the United States. Information processed there is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, and authorities there may be able to access it. Contact us if you want to know which jurisdictions apply to a given category of processing.

8. Retention

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

9. Safeguards

We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity: encryption in transit (TLS), access on a least-privilege basis, and multi-factor authentication on the systems where submissions land. No method is perfectly secure, but the small amount we collect is also the smallest possible surface.

10. Access and correction

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, how it has been used, and to whom it has been disclosed, and ask us to correct it — subject to the limited exceptions in PIPEDA and PIPA. Write to the contact below; we respond within 30 days. If we refuse a request in whole or in part, we will explain why and tell you about your recourse.

11. Contact and complaints

Questions, requests, or complaints about this policy: cs@matrixshift.ai. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — including when the product launches and this Site starts doing more than the three forms described above. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version; material changes will be posted on this page.
